This is a great opportunity to serve the agricultural community.As a Crop Adjuster, your primary accountabilities will include:
+ Complete field inspections and related responsibilities such asreading maps and aerial photos, measuring field and storage bins, anddiscussing findings of crop loss with farmers
+ Perform fact finding regarding crop damage; record information andtransmit loss information to accurately determine potential damages
+ Provide excellent service to our customers ? both agents andpolicyholders (farmers)
+ Utilize company software to electronically transmit claimsinformation directly from the field to RCIS to ensure claims are processedtimely and accurately
+ Follow regulatory and company rules, policies andprocedures.
You will work out of a home-based office. To optimize the business needs and customer needs/ experience, we prefer thatthe individual be located in the territory of coverage. This territoryrequires coverage of southeastern WA state and northeastern Oregon, andincludes counties of Walla Walla, Columbia, Benton, and Umatilla. You will be expected to travel at least 50%of the time to cover the territory.

Basic Qualifications:
+ HighSchool Diploma or Equivalent
+ 6 ormore months of experience in the agricultural area
+ CropAdjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180days of hire date.
+ Reliablepersonal transportation and travel within territory
+ ValidDriver?s license
+ Walk inagricultural fields up to 3 miles
+ Climbagricultural storage bins up to 25 feet
+ Lift 25lbs. to 50 lbs.
+ Workoutdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Excellentverbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Strongorganization and prioritization skills
+ IntermediateMicrosoft Office skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
