Position Purpose and Summary
Responsible for all payroll functions and processes within the organization (multiple companies and locations)

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Excellent customer service skills; strong accounting mentality (process based); strong keyboard and computer skills; accurate data entry.
General Areas of Responsibility
Responsible for all payroll processes and functions.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Updates HRIS with new employee information, employee change information, etc.
Assists with processing of terminations.
Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions.
Helps maintain employee files and the HR filing system.
Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files (electronic and paper).
Assists with the day-to-day operation of the HR office.
Performs other duties as assigned.

General Physical Requirements
Physical Demands
Manual dexterity for office machine operation including computer and calculator; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, mobility to complete errands for deliveries, or sitting for extended periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.
Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment. Involves frequent contact with staff.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
