Position Assistant Food Buyer Position RequirementsMINIMUM
Qualifications:
One (1) year experience with F&B inventory and knowledge/experience with procurement of goods.
Effective communications skills - able to read, write, understand and converse in English.
Must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Database applications.
Physically fit - able to perform routine review and maneuverings in the warehouse - stand, walk, climb stairs/ladder, lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
; sits for long periods at a computer station performing repetitive motions of wrists, hands, fingers; and good auditory and visual acuity.
Excellent personal hygiene habits and professional appearance.
Must have a valid state driver's license and meet WRC insurance requirements to drive company vehicle.
Requires a high security gaming license clearance.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Qualifications:
One (1) year experience with restaurant cooking and understanding of general F&B terminology.

Researches product requirements sourcing from vendors or manufacturers to obtain the highest quality product at the most competitive pricing.
Works closely with the food buyer and warehouse manager, department managers, and steward to ensure outlet supply needs are met most efficiently.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ensures customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service, placing the customer's interest first.
Learned full operational knowledge of the Eatec Inventory tracking system, including accurate data maintenance, data entry/extraction, and generating reports.
Works closely with warehouse supervisor & F&B departments with physical inventory and creates purchase orders with the Eatec Inventory tracking system.
Researched product needs, identified potential vendors, compared products and costs, and made recommendations to the food buyer and warehouse manager for procurement needs.
Follows established procurement procedures, selection process, and WRC purchasing policies.
Ensures that the Eatec system implements and updates product specifications.
Constantly monitors warehouse par levels to ensure proper storage and rotation of products.
Works closely with F&B, department managers, and steward to ensure that items are ordered for banquets and specialty menus Assists Food Buyers on special projects, sourcing, and costing.
Assists the Warehouse Material Handlers with putting freight away when needed.
Attends weekly Banquet, F&B and Warehouse meetings.
Works with food buyer and warehouse supervisor to ensure that proper information is being monitored by Eatec.
Will be actively involved in inventories for all F&B and warehouses.
Promotes a friendly and organized work environment for employees and vendors.
Operates and handles equipment, materials, and supplies safely and efficiently, according to WRC policies or training.
Compliance with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
