SB 469ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryIn close collaboration with patient care areas and ITS, the Clinical Informatics Manager provides leadership, consultation in planning, designing and implementing clinical documentation projects in patient care areas.
Performs Clinical Education Duties.
Essential Functions Knows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates St Anthony's mission, vision and core values in leadership behavior, practices and decisions.
Provides project management/oversight on clinical improvement projects related to informational technology.
Provides leadership in collaboratively defining resource needs, project timelines, training needs, implementation schedules and other associated duties to ensure timely project completion and achievement of project goals and objectives.
Utilizes effective problem-solving skills in identifying strengths and weaknesses in projects, identifying barriers to progress and creatively defines problem-solving approaches.
Applies knowledge and understanding of Clinical documentation, informatics, nomenclature and language.
Maintains current knowledge of the Joint Commission Standards, National Patient Safety Goals meaningful use, and other regulatory requirements in order to integrate this into systems design.
Ensures Clinical end-users are selected and involved throughout the design and implementation process.
Assists in the selection, staff orientation and involved in supervision of clinical documentation and implementations teams.
Coordinates and lead project team meetings as needed.
Monitors timelines and project resource allocations.
Submits status reports toward project goals.
Maintains current knowledge of clinical informatics through regular review of literature, conference attendance and participation in professional organizations.
Excellent written and communication skills with all levels.
Demonstrates excellent critical thinking/synthesis skills and effective facilitation and problem-solving skills.
Participates in educating staff in the use of Clinical computerization and trains super users.
Demonstrates ability to build and promote effective working relationships with multiple types of clinical disciplines.
Participates in hospital orientation/training of new personnel.
Demonstrates ability to multi-task, identify resource needs/problems and implement creative solutions.
Demonstrates ability to maintain composure during highly stressful situations.
Arranges for education opportunities for clinical staff.
Coordinates education needs with managers and staff.
Other duties as assigned by management.
QualificationsRequired Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three (3) years leadership experience OR minimum of five (5) years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master's Degree with no experience Minimum of five (5) years acute care clinical nursing experience Required Licensure and Certifications Current Oregon State Registered Nurse License (OR RN) Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in the use of computer applications Advanced knowledge and understanding of nursing documentation, informatics, nursing language, and nursing models Preferred Qualifications Past experience with clinical informatics Recommended Skills Leadership Mentorship Performance Improvement Decision Making Coordinating Team Building Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
