Small community hospital in an excellent Eastern Oregon location is seeking a full-time, permanent Clinical Laboratory Manager.

Salary:
$125,000-$150,000/yearlyClinical Laboratory Manager / Medical TechnologistThe Director of Laboratory is responsible for day-to-day management of laboratory operations.
This includes proficiency programs, regulatory oversight, materials management, problem solving, and customer relations.
The Clinical Laboratory Manager works constructively with other department managers and hospital administrative staff.
The Clinical Laboratory Manager works closely with the Executive Director in planning and reviewing budget processes, assuring regulatory compliance, maintenance and development of information systems, review and maintenance of financial performance and expense goals and assists with development and implementation of new services.
The Laboratory Manager reports to the Executive Director Patient Care Services.
Maintains regulatory requirements, including all state, federal, CAP and JCAHO regulations Ensures compliance with policies and procedures regarding department operations, fire, safety and infection control Assures staff education and orientation Establishes and maintains a system to check the accuracy of tests and test results Interviews, hires and terminates employees according to hospital policy and procedure Updates policy and procedure manuals Responsible for evaluating new testing methods and new instrumentation Works collaboratively with the Pathologist and Laboratory Medical Director Demonstrates ability to review test results to ensure quality control Develops and maintains the laboratory information system Ensures that the environmental conditions of the laboratory work area are appropriate for testing Qualifications of Clinical Laboratory Manager / Medical Technologist Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology with MT(ASCP) or equivalent national certification Minimum of 8 years of experience as a medical technologist with emphasis as a generalist At least 3 years experience in a supervisory role with involvement in high complexity testing Experience with CAP proficiency testing and documentation Benefits of Clinical Laboratory Manager / Medical Technologist Comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance PTO Retirement savings options w/employer match Relocation assistance Eastern Oregon Location Surrounded by beautiful mountains with plenty of sunshine Very little crime with low cost of living and excellent school system Simple, small town living in this friendly, rural community Area perfect for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, boating, climbing, fishing, camping, wildlife interests, scenic viewing, photography, and more Contact:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
